Sketching Tour: Material Experimentations

Explore current exhibitions through drawing! Look closely at works of art and create experimental sketches inspired by what you see. This month, visit Human Interest: Portraits from the Whitney’s Collection and learn how artists push the limits of what a portrait can be by experimenting with unusual materials.

This program has been developed specifically for kids ages 6 to 10. Siblings are welcome to join the group but must have a ticket.

Tickets are required; every adult and child must reserve a ticket to attend this program. Members: please log-in to view and reserve discounted tickets.

$5 per child, plus Museum admission ($22 adults; $17 seniors. Museum admission is free for members and children under 18). Families are encouraged to sign up for one tour a month.
