William Klein
1928–
Introduction
Known for his photographs and books of the 1950s and 60s of great cities including New York, Rome, and Moscow, and his satirized view of fashion in photographs and film. He portrayed Muhammad Ali and Eldridge Cleaver as subjects of documentary films. He was one of his generation’s most celebrated photographers, and his work is represented in museums Europe and the United States.
