Artist and filmmaker Steve McQueen (b. 1969) speaks about his work with Donna De Salvo, Deputy Director for International Initiatives and Senior Curator at the Museum. McQueen has directed films including Hunger, Shame, and 12 Years a Slave, which won the Academy Award for Best Picture in 2014. For the exhibition Open Plan, McQueen is creating a newly expanded version of his work End Credits, which presents documents from the FBI file kept on the legendary African-American performer Paul Robeson.

Tickets are required ($15 adults; $12 members, students, and seniors). Please note: This event has reached ticketing capacity. A limited number of standby tickets may be available at the admissions desk on a first-come, first-served basis. The standby line will open one hour prior to the program's start time.

The Susan and John Hess Family Theater is equipped with an induction loop and infrared assistive listening system. Accessible seating is available.
