Robert J Hurst Family Gallery and Sculpture Court

You and your guests enter the Whitney by crossing the bridge over the Sculpture Court. Two-story windows afford a view of the event awaiting you. The Robert J Hurst Family Gallery and adjacent outdoor Sculpture Court provide the perfect backdrop for many different types of events.  A custom-designed tent that covers the Sculpture Court is available at an additional charge. The Robert J Hurst Family Gallery is equipped with a sophisticated sound system.

Brendan Gill Trustee Room
 

Located in the Leonard & Evelyn Lauder Galleries, which house masterpieces from the Whitney’s permanent collection, the black granite walls and board table designed by Marcel Breuer provide a striking setting for intimate gatherings. Equipped with a video screen, conference calling capabilities, private bathroom, and reception desk, this is an ideal location for your most important VIP meetings, luncheons, and dinners.

   
Museum Lobby
 

The Museum Lobby, a work of art in itself, is equipped with sound and lighting equipment and coat check facilities making it the perfect location for cocktails and exhibition viewing.

   
Whitney Annex Conference Room

 

  Located in a restored townhouse, the Whitney Annex Conference Room can be accessed through the main Museum building, or through a private entrance on 74th Street if desired. This elegant, wood-paneled room, with dramatic 14-foot windows and an antique marble faux fireplace, is perfect for cocktail and dinner parties. The room is fully equipped with media presentation materials, including slide projectors, video screen, television monitors, freestanding microphones, podium, stereo system, and VCR.
   
Kaufman Astoria Studios Film & Video Gallery
 

This intimate auditorium-style theater, located in the Mildred and Herbert Lee Galleries, is equipped with video and film projection equipment. It is an excellent space for private screenings, media announcements, and presentations.
