Family Fun: Artist as Storyteller

SAT, Feb 10, 2018
2:30–4:30 pm

Floor 3, Laurie M. Tisch Education Center

For families with kids ages 6-10

Families create hands-on art projects inspired by discussion and activities in the galleries. Explore works in Where We Are: Selections from the Whitney's Collection, 1900–1960 and other exhibitions to learn how artists tell stories through setting, character, expression, and mark making. Then make your own artwork that tells a tale!

This program has been developed specifically for kids ages 6 to 10. Siblings are welcome to join the group but must have a ticket.

Tickets are required; every adult and child must reserve a ticket to attend this program. Members: please log-in to view and reserve discounted tickets.

$10 per child, plus Museum admission ($25 adults; $18 seniors. Museum admission is free for members and children under 18). Families are encouraged to sign up for one tour a month. Tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged. If you have any questions about which tour is most appropriate for your family, please email familyprograms@whitney.org before purchasing your tickets.
