Laurie M. Tisch Education Center, Hearst Artspace and Galleries
Families are invited to create hands-on art projects inspired by discussion and activities in the galleries. This month we will look at some of the processes that artists use to create their work. How does Frank Stella paint his stripes? What technologies does he use to create his large-scale sculpture? Learn about what’s involved in making these works and test out your own ideas in the studio.
This program has been developed specifically for kids 6 to 10 years old. Siblings are welcome to join the group but must have a ticket.
