Whitney Signs:
Legacy: The Emily Fisher Landau Collection

SAT, Mar 5, 2011
3 pm

Whitney Signs is a free American Sign Language gallery tour with voice interpretation. Join us this month for a tour of Legacy: The Emily Fisher Landau Collection followed by a free reception.

Legacy: The Emily Fisher Landau Collection presents a selection of works from the historic gift of art pledged to the Whitney in May 2010 by longtime Museum trustee Emily Fisher Landau. Considered one of the preeminent collectors of postwar art in the United States, Emily Fisher Landau’s personal approach to collecting has long paralleled that of the Whitney, an institution similarly devoted to the art of its time.

Please note: we regret that complimentary tickets will no longer be available for ASL students. Museum staff/interpreters will not be able to sign student assignments.

Admission to tour and reception is free. Registration is required; RSVP to asl_tours@whitney.org. Tickets may be picked up in the Museum lobby.

The Museum building is accessible and has elevator access to all floors. Service animals are welcome. Learn more about access services and amenities.
