Warhol’s radical reinvention of media is at the forefront of Andy Warhol—From A to B and Back Again, and his groundbreaking films comprise an essential component of the exhibition. This represents a major milestone for the Andy Warhol Film Project, a decades-long collaboration between the Whitney and the Museum of Modern Art focused on preserving, researching, and exhibiting Warhol’s films. During this talk, Claire K. Henry, assistant curator of the Andy Warhol Film Project at the Whitney, will introduce Warhol’s films and discuss some of the ways these works enrich our understanding of the artist’s work in other media.

A wine reception will be available throughout the event, and Andy Warhol—From A to B and Back Again will be open for viewing on the same evening from 6:30–8:30 pm.
