MOMUS
Born Nicholas Currie, 1967, Paisley, Scotland; lives in Berlin, Germany

Momus has been producing pop albums in a variety of musical styles since the 1980s. His lyrics are often darkly humorous, with descriptions of sexual fantasies and futuristic societies, reflecting the artist's sophisticated wit and carefully constructed persona. More recently, his ongoing interest in the relationship between narratives, sound, and space (both mental and physical) has carried over into a series of videos and gallery-based performances in which he reconfigures storytelling traditions.
